30th January

I’m sorry for not updating soon enough. But since the New Year has started, I’ll only show you a sketch of the dragon I drew though the completed is fully coloured ^^;

It’s like a little dragon in training www but my grandma helped me with the how the dragon should be coloured and all. I showed her the stuff that I drew, paint and she thinks that I should have gone to art school (thanks grandma♥) but I’m not meant to be.

I hope I can make her proud of me。 いつもありがとうよ、おばあちゃん♥<(_ _*)> アリガトォ

Putting that aside, Asera had mentioned about wanting to see my watercolours again (albeit abstract ones) I think I would look forward to them myself as well. It’s been slightly difficult to that actually, I’ve kept away my watercolour stuff since I readjusted the shelves leaving them ‘homeless’.. and collecting dust.

Though I did trace out a drawing I did four years ago, haha ~ The tracing is okay but I have no idea how to colour it but I’ve found a few sites that can help me with it : ) Hopefully I can show some progress on it.

This month was a real busy one. Perhaps I need to hunt down some basic proper art supplies.. ) :

I laugh, I smile.

I faced a very uncomfortable situation last week before the three-day holiday started. (But, it turned out that it was nothing at all. Oh well, my worries ~)

I started doodling on Paint. Prince William and Catherine’s wedding was on TV but I only watched a part of it and didn’t manage to finish that D:

I started with a set of eyes.. and when I finished the entire thing, I realised that my feelings were brought out (laughs)

Right after ‘Read more…’

Dedication to a friend

I drew this after I got a rough sketch last night. It’s hopelessly similar to Hinano Yoshikawa’s Poupee Produce ^^; but nonetheless, I’m inspired by those hats, they’re cute!

In exchange for my terribly long and rant-ful mails with my friend, Dori-chan, I drew this for her after one sudden thought of bunny ear knitted hats >w<

This is it~

Thanks Dori-chan, let’s usher the Rabbit year with a smile ~ 😀

and now the sketch as omake ^-~

Showtime!!

I got a few photos of my work stashed away in my Facebook album, poor things D:

Finally, curtain call~ starts!

A desert scene or of the Wild West

Ahh, it’s Shiki, lovely Shiki~

A young lady (Italian?) is meeting her boyfriend’s parents.. The sketch of the body is well proportioned compared to my past drawings.

Ichigo—A ballerina in-training, actually drawn to be 4-6 years old but I made changes so she looks around eleven to twelve years old.

I wanted to draw a face filled with horror after watching her parents was murdered but I ended up drawing this young lady, leading her people to a new land of peace and productivity where they can prosper.

Ah, my admiration for this is unbelievable. I couldn’t believe that I drew this. I wanted to copy or re-adapt a sketch I made on a rough piece of paper into my sketch book but it ended with a strong-willed young girl, deciding her future to move along a new path. Strongly influenced by Aki Yoshino’s artwork.

I wanted to draw something for a contest in DeviantArt (in which the sketch on the rough piece of paper was involved…) I made another attempt to draw a warrior or somewhat rank in an online RPG world.

I hope it has the spirit of a warrior.

Last but not least, a little picture of a flower.

New illustration!

I drew this today during my History test. I wanted to draw something close to Fullmetal Alchemist’s Olivier Mila Armstrong.

——
When I first saw her in the opening sequence of the 3rd (or 4th) opening theme song, I said “I want to be like her!”.

(I sound so much like a kid XD)

She’s beautiful and doesn’t need a man beside to get things done. Not to mention stronger than a man too ;D She holds on to her principles and she’s the type of woman that I want to be.
——

But I ended up with this.

I sound rather ungrateful but I’m happy I drew this. It never crossed me that I will draw something this beautiful ToT

Image0062<== Here’s the preview photo from my phone

I will continue my hard work as a person of art so please keep on supporting me (bows)

Note: A few photos that I took from my Cameron Highlands trip will be also be up within the next few posts.

First watercoloured drawing.

My first(ever!) drawing that I attempted to watercolour it. I doodled this character out of nowhere when I was waiting for my teacher to arrive.

I was stressed out when I need to hand-in a full 3 page essay on how to restore our country’s sporting glory so I just thought of colouring this and play around with it.

I never attempted this before but having a new small sized brush really helped with this watercoloured drawing.

I present you these photos!

That’s all for now! I’ve tests coming up next week with a 3-page essay due in the morning (I have yet to even start with the 2nd paragraph..) so I’ll be offline for a bit~

See you all next time!

More Tie&Dye styled into cards ;D

Hey there! I’ve just finished making some Tie&Dyes (4 to be specific) again this time around and I was making them for Deepavali. (Yeah, I can’t believe I’m giving them out…) This time, I pasted them and turned them into cards XD

The colours used this time was Cobalt Blue, Purple, Pink, Lemon Yellow and White although the colours are sometimes mixed for a different hues or colours. The colours for this batch are kinda pale >_< since I placed a lot of emphasization on more tones and graduation(?).

Okay these are before,

:I know I said 4 of them but I forgot to take a photo of the last one that I made, sorry >_<

and after,

Another view of it,

and the rest of them…

はい、おわりました!I’m finished! The duration of this tiny project took about 2 hours or so. Again, the tissues are of Kimberly Clark’s Scott brand 🙂

See ya next time!

P.S: My dad asked me, ‘Why don’t you do it on clothes?’. I said , “Don’t dyeing them need lots of money?” Besides, I feel I can’t really be free in choosing the colours and the design of the clothes.
